A world famous diva is traveling to a third world country when an accident downs the plane. The singer, as well as all the passengers, is stranded for weeks in a small hotel in an unfriendly country, guarded by the military. She must practice daily to maintain her voice. Thus hangs the tale as the depth and beauty of the music opens communication and, eventually, understanding among the diverse language, nationality, and economic status groups forced to live and get along together.
